Re: ECO2N / ECO2M: handling of wettability in a dry zone
glad to get your feedback- as always, and clarification on this. It makes sense to think that evaporation does not distinguish between mobile or immobile water,…

ECO2N / ECO2M: handling of wettability in a dry zone
Hi folks, When exposing the initially brine-filled grid cells near injection point to CO2 injection, a dry zone is established. At a certain condition of flow and rock properties water saturation…

Re: Using rock type "x" in T2Well
Info. A 1D radial model with a 1km well at center, injecting at 300 bar and 25'C. Geo-gradient from 5'C at surface to 35'C in reservoir, hydrostatically initialized.

Using rock type "x" in T2Well
Hi T2well gives you the option to represent your tubular as a bundle of smaller tubes. I was trying to use rock type x (domain) right after the wellhead for representation of the wellhead choke.…

Re: JT Heat exchange in the cell containing well (using ECO2N)
Appreciate your rapid help here, as usual. I am aware of the +/- effects upon "where" in the envelope one might be. But I got a better understanding of sole P and delta-H dependency now,…

JT Heat exchange in the cell containing well (using ECO2N)
Hello guys, In a non-isothermal run with gas (CO2) injection into an aquifer conditioned within supercritical domain of CO2, you expect some heating from compression and some cooling from expansion.…

I might have used wrong pressure (288 bar: initial pressure), but it wasn't sensitiv to pressure at all- in that area of around 300bar. Godarzi

Just to add that the rock had kh=300md, kv=1md, h=200ft, q_high: 30kg/s, q_low:6kg/s and Van-Genuchten function used for relative perm and capillary pressure.
