Restart problem with T2Well
Hi,
I assume T2Well has the same set up for "restart" as Tough2 or Tough3. I have summarized the sequence of my primary and secondary runs below to ask for advise.
Primary run included the followings:
As a part of PARAM:
PARAM----1-MOP* 123456789012345678901234----*----5----*----6----*----7----*----8
8 09999 9999000000100001 2 000 0
2.20E04 4.0e01 5.0e02
and this GENER / REGFX (in T2W-ECO2M)
--time, s --injection Rate, kg/s
0.0 120.0
22000.0 120.0
It run into problems at about 1000s.
The SAVE file that was produced had this as its top line:
INCON -- INITIAL CONDITIONS FOR 445 ELEMENTS AT TIME 0.101046E+04
And these 2 bottom lines:
+++
********** 14 0.00000000E+00 0.10104552E+04
Secondary run was planned to start where the primary stopped: and had this PARAM with different start time and time step:
PARAM----1-MOP* 123456789012345678901234----*----5----*----6----*----7----*----8
8 09999 9999000000100001 2 000 0
1.01045E+3 2.10E04 1.0e01 5.0e03 9.81 2.0
And this GENER / REGFX (edited here):
--time, s --Rate, kg/s
1.01045E+3 120.0
21000.0 120.0
The INCON from the primary SAVE file was modified as follows to be used in secondary run:
+++
1 1 14 0.00000000E+00 0.101045E+04
But, secondary run didn’t start from when it supposed to start. The simulation seemed to have actually been started from the very beginning (initial condition in primary run), even though the reported time started from 1.01045E+3s in all output files. How can we make T2Well secondary run to be a real Restart run?
I would be grateful to have a response.

Just to add that secondary run was able to run at least 3000s in this case.
