Sourcing injection fluid in ToughReact

A clarification is needed regarding ToughReact when run with ECO2N:

Think of a situation where a carbonated brine is defined in “chemical.inp” file for injection purpose. A voluminous cell have been used as the source of that injection (boundary) water. The "boundary water zone" has been assigned to that cell in “solute” file. “GENER” file has been used to specify the injection rate.  To do the latter one, one has to specify the type of fluid (options: water, salt and CO2). Intuitively, one may specify only the water assuming that boundary water including its dissolved CO2 is already defined in “chemical.inp” file and expect ToughReact to stick to that and avoid a double dipiong of CO2. Appreciate if anyone can ensure me that we do not really need to specify salt or CO2 in the GENER input file,-  or on the contrary argue for having to provide those values?

Cheers
