I need some information about the thermodynamic data from TherAkin10.

For example what means

k-feldspar

k-feldspar-kk

or

magnesite

and magnesite-2 and why is the Log K much greater for magnesite-2

    First I shoulg say there is no "official" TOUGHREACT thermodynamic database. The database is like an regular input file. Some 10 years ago, I used thermodynamic data translated from EQ3/6 database (Wolery, 1992), late data for some minerals were improved as reported in Papers (Xu et al., 2005 and 2007). Our main purpose is research driven, not really softeware development (no code development funding provided for us), so we don't have full documentation for the database. k-feldspar-kk is the old data, while k-feldspar is the current for Xu et al. (2005, 2007). Similarly, magnesite-2 is the improved one.
