iTOUGH2 EOS7 Compilation

Hello when compiling iTOUGH2 (linux) with EOS7 the iTOUGH2 manual indicates that the variables MAXK and MAXEQ within maxsize.inc should be set to 3 and 4 to allow for upto three components and 4 equations. However when changing these variables the compiler 'falls over' and no executable is made.

It will compile if both are set to equal 3.

Is there some other change that needs to accompany this as I really require non-isothermal modelling?

Many thanks,

Tom

    Hi Tom,

Please let me know what you mean by "the compiler falls over", i.e., what is the error message? How big are the other arrays in maxsize.inc?

I take the opportunity to announce that the next version of iTOUGH2 (to be released later this year) will have all arrays dynamically allocated - no need to set array dimensions in maxsize.inc anymore!

Hello Stefan. This has now been solved by using a different maxsize.inc file.

Thanks for your assistance  -  the new iTOUGH2 release sounds good!
