Boundary water

Hi all,

I'm modeling CO2 underground injection and we are injection a mixture of brine and supercritical CO2. Under the system pressure and temperature and the injection rates, there's plenty of excessive CO2 in its separate phase. In this case, no matter how much I increase the CO2 injection rate (more excessive CO2), the boundary water composition (in chemical.inp) should stay the same because it is only for the aqueous phase, correct?

Thanks,

Luanjing

Hi Luanjing, yes, this is correct. I assume, you chose the composition of the boundary water to be at equilibrium with CO2 under the prevailing condition?
