Integrated CO2 injection modeling for studying flow distribution aspects in well (&well formation?) in CO2 injection wells in Tough2-ECO2M
Dear All,
I am doing my Master's Thesis about CO2 modeling with phase changes (critical, liquid and gaseous form). Could you tell me please, is it possible to make such modeling in Tough2? - if so, is it possible to model there colour maps with distribution of pressure and temperature along all processes (surface equipment (wellhead choke), wellbore and near-well formation)?
Also, is it possible to model intellectual wells? AICD or AICV

you can model H2O-CO2-NaCl fluid mixtures with CO2 phase changes with TOUGH3-ECO2M. For coupled modeling of wellbore and reservoir flow you need T2Well-ECO2M, which I guess is not distributed by LBNL on a commercial basis.
As far as I know, T2Well was not designed to model intelligent wells with AICD or AICV.
It has some capability for modeling the flow restriction through a choke, and of course can model wellbore flow and the near wellbore zone.
