This is caused by handling the time stepping to honor the time in the GENER. You may increase the time in the GENER to larger than or match the TIMAX to avoid this problem.

Use large rock density to fix a gridblock temperature is the standard approach for TOUGH. It should work.

Only the temperature fixed at bottom, not pressure. To fix the temperature, you may use a large DROK rock grain density (1.0e50) for the bottom boundary.

can you remove the option "-fcheck=all -Wall" from makefile and try again. The error message for the arrays that have not been used in certain CPU and so they are not allocated at these CPUs.…

The solubility model uses a iterative approach to solve the solubility of gas components. A tiny difference of primary variables may lead to no convergence of the iteration.
