About the SEED with porosity
Hi, everyone
I'm using TOUGHREACT1.2/ECO2N with Petrasim,and i found that in Petrsim can set different porosity for each cell in "Set cell data", so I wonder how can I achieve that by text manipulation. i found that in TOUGH2 MANUAL it says the SEED function can generate random fields for permeability, but what about porosity?
I hope someone can tell me, thank you all ！

Hi Luoluo.
SEED allows to use permeability modifiers only. A similar option is not available for porosity.
But you should be able to assign element by element porosity values (PORX) just using the INCON block.

Hello, I asked you before about the permeability settings, and I'm now trying to change the porosity and permeability one by one via INCON, will this work?

If you are using TOUGH2 only the porosity can be changed element by element through the INCON block.
You have also posted a similar question under TOUGHREACT. I'm not an expert of T2R simulator, but I think TOUGHREACT can read element by element permeabilities provided under block INCON.
This was allowed as precipitation/dissolution processes can change porosity and permeability of grid elements.

It should work, if you are using TOUGH3 (except module ECO2M and TMVOC which requires a slight different input format for including phase state index).
