Non-isothermal solution crashes

I am running a CO2 single injection well into a dipping saline aquifer. The model seems to be running fine in isothermal conditions but crashes when non-isothermal is turned on. The error message says insufficient virtual memory. It looks like a Fortran (?) message so I assume it is a TOUGH issue and not a Windows issue. Is this correct? Is there a switch somewhere that I need to change in TOUGH? Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    If you have 160K element, when you add the thermal equation, you add an extra of 160K equations. So I am not surprised you got an insufficient memory message if you run on pc. Try to run it on a mac or in linux environment and see if that helps.

    Yannick, According to the output file you attached, the code completes one step and then crashes while printing output.  Near the top of the output file are some error messages regarding the input block OUTPU.  I recommend you correct those errors and try running again.  I agree with Yingqi that it is possible you are out of memory, but it is worth fixing any errors that the code warns you about.  Christine
