CO2 solubility ECO2n carbonated water

Hi everyone,

I'm working on CO2 mineralization in the subsurface where carbonated water is injected into reactive minerals, similar to the CarbFix project.

I noticed that when I use carbonated water (COM1) as injection fluid the CO2 properties are not being calculated correctly (for example the solubility, see attached figure). However when I inject or co-inject CO2 gas (COM3) tit seems to activate the the correct calculation for the CO2 properties, but it changes the system and slows up the calculation significantly.

Is seems like the model does not allow CO2 (g) to form if high concentration of CO(aq) (above saturation) is introduced, unless COM3 is used for one injection well.

What am I missing?

Thank you
