TOUGH2Matlab

Dears,

I would like to know if TOUGH2Matlab can be used to post-process the results obtained using TOUGH3. I have tried to use TOUGH2Matlab to read the MESH and OUTPUT files obtained using TOUGH3, however it takes very long time to complete reading the OUTPUT file. Attached are the results obtained on the command window for TOUGH2 case and TOUGH3 case.

Thanks in advance

    Dear Refaat,

looking at your screenshots it seems that your simulation is not really the same.

Indeed, while for TOUGH2 you have 90 time steps, for TOUGH3 you have 729 and counting. This explains why it takes long time to read the output file.

Please be aware that the TOUGH2MATLAB is not optimised for reading very large meshes, and that TOUGH3 has more additional ways to have output files (e.g. csv files) that can be easily imported in Matlab.
