Methods to Place GENER Block

Hi,

What is the fastest method that people use to identify the placement for their GENER blocks? For example, I want to place multiple wells as producers at a specific depth and injectors at another. I have been placing the Meshmaker elements in excel and manually counting rows. 

This really feels like I am working with my mother’s reservoir toolkit. Is there a common preprocess tool that people use? I think, after looking at a layout in LeapFrog, almost no tool should be in use without at minimum having a visual output and ideally error handling. …or at least a library of recipes (instructions) for putting together a mesh and INFILEs.
