Question on the block of CONNE
Hello everyone,
I have a question on the block of CONNE. Whether can I only input part of the connections between two cells instead of all the connections? My goal to ask this is I want to output mass flux between two rows and I do not need other connections between cells. Please let me know if you have suggestions. Thank you.

Thank you, Stefan. I appreciate your helps! I am trying to build a model with 41*34 cells and it contains 8 types of rocks. I found it is so time consuming for inputting each cell information (name, rock, volume, x, y, z in the block of ELEME) following the locations of "----1----*----2----*----3----*----4----*----5----*----6----*----7----*----8". I tried to use excel to input and then saved it as a text file, but the locations are changed and I have to adjust the information for each cell which costs lots of time. Could you please tell me a easy way to do that? Thank you very much!

Fang,
Use MESHMAKER (see Appendix F of TOUGH2 manual) to create the mesh. After the basic mesh is created, you may want to use AssignRocks.exe (http://esd.lbl.gov/research/projects/tough/licensing/free.html) to assign your 8 materials to regions of the mesh (assuming you want a layered hydrostratigraphy).
The generation of a TOUGH2 mesh almost always requires the use of (internal or external) pre-processing programs; check out http://esd.lbl.gov/research/projects/tough/software/processors.html for options.

Hi Stefan, thank you so much for the information which is really helpful! I have one more question about the boundary condition. For the constant pressure boundary, it should be provided in the block of INCON as inactive cells. Am I right? If the cells for the constant pressure boundary are active, they are just the initial condition instead of the constant pressure boundary. Am I right? Is it the only way to assign constant pressure boundary? Thank you for all your help!
