The TOUGHREACT V4.13's calculation time is long

Hi everyone,

 I have been trying to run TOUGHREACT V4 Deep Salt Formation 2-D Radial Model Problem 6 with the instructions in the manual. However,  I encountered the following two troubles:

(1) Although the TOUGHREACT V4 is OMP and compute's CPU working at full capacity, the calculation time is similar to other versions. It  has been working for over 48 hours.

(2) The runlog.out is too large (exceeds 60G)

I don't know if it should continue to run.If you could provide any help, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much for your assistance.

    Hi Yiming,

    Not sure which problem you are referring to -- There is no "Deep Salt" Problem 6. If it is running that long, just stop the code. There is probably a nonconvergence. Always check the iteration file (iter.out or iter.dat) to see whether the chemistry is converging. Sometimes it will keep running even if it has not converged. All the Sample problems will run in just a few minutes or less. Did you modify the problem?

       Dear Eric,

      Thank your for your reply.  I did not modify the Sample problem. The "Deep Salt" of Problem 6 is from TOUGHREACT V2.0. Due to the difference between the two versions, I have to convert the input file of V2.0 to V4.0. But it seems like I didn't succeed. 

      I will listen to your suggestions to check the iteration files.  Thank you very much for your help.
