What is the role of each code file in TOUGH3 ?

I want to modify the code to apply different k/k0 and phi/phi0 relationships for faults and rocks in TOUGH3-eco2n. Which part of the code should I modify? Can you briefly explain the roles of various code files like eco2n.f90, TOUGH3.f90, Utility.f90, etc.? I find it quite difficult to understand directly. Thank you all.

    You may need change the porosity-permeability relation functions in FUNCTION AKREL(X) in file thrmb.f90

       Is there a manual to check the contents and functions of each code? I also have some source code, but the function of each code is not familiar. I want to modify the code but can not start.
