INCON not creating correctly from INPUT (very new user)

Hello!  I am in the early stages of learning how to run TOUGH2. I have been provided an INPUT file (titled "sam7c3"). When I try to run the program, I get an error in the OUTPUT that states "CANNOT FIND PARAMETERS AT ELEMENT *ELE11*...CHECK INCON FORMAT ..."

My INPUT file seems to be formatted correctly for creating the INCON file. It elements named ELE11, ELE12, etc. The ELEME and CONNE blocks have the element names formatted the same.

After running the executable, the INCON box elements end up named "ELE**, ELE**, etc).

The MESH file has appropriate elements: ELE11, ELE12, etc.

Does anyone know why the INCON file is coming up with odd names for the elements?

I will attach the input file (sam7c3) and the generated MESH, INCON and output file files.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I took a look at your output file. It seems that you are using a non-official executable. The following output indicates that you input or your executable reading is wrong for source sink/sources:

REFERENCE TO UNKNOWN ELEMENT *A1  1* AT SOURCE #    1 --- WILL IGNORE SOURCE
REFERENCE TO UNKNOWN ELEMENT *A1  1* AT SOURCE #    2 --- WILL IGNORE SOURCE
RFILE DEBUG: Finished reading GENER file. NOGN =        43176

Yes I am. I am a PhD student and part of my research is to create a novel EOS by combining aspects of different EOS files.  So the EOS is definitely custom. I don't think the main TOUGH2 program is altered though.

I am curious about the "NOGN =    43176". Per the TOUGH2 manual, NOGN is the number of source/sinks.  Is this really saying that I have qty 43,167 sourced and sinks defined? I only defined 2 sources, I think. Plus my mesh is tiny.
