Temperature limits of various ECO2N versions
Hi Folks,
Anybody can send me a few words on this:
We have a version of ECO2N (as a part of iTough2.7.0.) which doesn't perform with T>103.4, same indication seen in CO2Tab data that is limited to this temperature and the ECO2N fortran file (SUBROUTINE EOSDATA_17) that seems to have formulated a warning at a temperature beyond 110 deg C. There is absence of so-called ver.file following the license, so to declear the version.
But still, I can see very small differences in results for phase saturations and phase partitioning when an identical run considered with 2 alternatives of the so-called switch key IE(16)=0 and IE(16)=1 where there is an opportunity to distinguish between various Spycher and Pruess approaches. You may get an impression that there is different version of ver.1.??
Any similar observations, comment or clarifications are welcomed.
Thanks.

Hi Godarzi,
The officially released version of iTOUGH2 is V7.1.
The EOS2N module integrated in iTOUGH2 goes to 110C. Unfortunately, the high temperature version ECO2N_V2, available in TOUGH3, has not yet been implemented in iTOUGH2.
Note that CO2TAB is an external file, i.e., not part of the code. It can be updated to different ranges and/or different resolution within the selected range.
