Why a simulation with "same" input file once runs and once crashes?

I made an input file which worked properly. I just added data block FOFT, and I recieved error by running that. I deleted data block FOFT but with the same input file which previously had worked without error, again I recieve error. What can be the problem?

    Mona,

Here is my (wild) guess: Check for files INCON, GENER, TABLE, MESH etc. sitting in your working directory. They have been created by the previous run, and are read by TOUGH2 in case you do not have the corresponding blocks in the input file. Remove them (unless you intentionally placed them there as input).

If you don't want to specify an INCON or GENER block, it is safe practice to put empty blocks (i.e., they keyword INCON,  GENER, etc. followed by an empty line) into the input file to prevent TOUGH2 from reading external files that may not be related to the current run.

Check Section 5.1 (specifically Table 6) of the TOUGH2 User's Guide.

    Dear Stefan,

    Thanks for your reply.

All data are in input file and there is no need to any disk files. At last I couldn´t find the problem. But copying input file in another location, it works! something that I had tried several times before. :)

    Thanks,

    Mona
