Set An Initial Temperature Greater Than 100 In ECO2N Module

Dear all members,
Hi,

I am a new TOUGH user and I know that by default,  ECO2N has limitations on maximum allowed temperature (103.04 deg. C). But in my case the temperature is 120 deg. C, now I have the ‘’CO2TAB’ file which up to 130 deg. C and replace the old file but it doesn't work.

I have attached the input  file that I tried and I would be grateful if someone can help me on this issue.

Thank you so much for your help,
Best Regards

Dear Henry,   There are other limitations in ECO2N for T>103.04 C besides just  CO2TAB.  If you want T=120 C, you need to use ECO2N V2.  Check to see if your current version of TOUGH has ECO2N V2.  If it does not, then you need to get a version that does.  Probably this will be TOUGH3, which has replaced TOUGH2.  You can look at the User's Guide for ECO2N V2 in the list of manuals (from the TOUGH home page, choose Research Papers and then TOUGH Manuals).  The first author is Lehua Pan.

    Good luck, Christine
