TOUGHREACT: single run vs. segmented time runs

Hello everyone,

I have a question that has been puzzling me for quite some time regarding TOUGHREACT simulations.

If I run a simulation directly for 100 days, and alternatively run it in segments (e.g., 1–10 days, then 10–20 days, and so on up to 90–100 days), should these two approaches produce the same results? Or is it expected that the results will differ?

When running the simulation in time segments, do I need to modify the time-related settings in SAVECHEM and in flow.inp to ensure consistency between segments?

I would greatly appreciate any clarification or advice on this issue.
