Help TOUGHREACT 3.32 with EOS7 Module for Air Injection into an Aquifer

I am using TOUGHREACT 3.32 with the EOS7 module to simulate air injection into an aquifer. The total simulation time is 50 days. During the run, the iteration progress is very slow with small time steps, but I do not wish to alter my mesh or injection rate. What should I do? I sincerely seek advice from the academic experts.
