TMVOC
Hello everyone. I want to learn something about TMVOC from everyone. When I was simulating the initial groundwater flow using TMVOC, the simulation results showed that gas disappeared and was generated in many grid cells. I suspect that there might be a problem with the initial conditions I set, but I have always been confused about how to reasonably set the initial conditions for the boundary grids of the study area. In addition, from multiple simulation trials, I also found that the results of the initial water flow affect the subsequent leakage of pollutants. Has anyone encountered this situation? I would like to express my sincere thanks in advance.

You did not provide initial condition for the elements that gas evolved in the INCON. These elements will take the default values as their initial condition. The default initial condition is:
1.010e5 0.9E-5 25.0
And it is in single aqueous water with dissolved air in it.
The specified pressure is lower than the gas appearing pressure (Psat+pgas) which leads to gas phase evolves.
You should set the initial conditions for the boundary elements according to the real situation.

Dear Kenny
Thank you very much for your help. I have modified the initial conditions of the other meshes based on your suggestions and am currently debugging the model. I hope I can continue to communicate with you in the future.
Best regards.
