salt, chemistry and permeability reduction in ECO2N

I am trying to simulate salt precipitation and corresponding permeability reduction upon CO2 injection using the ECO2N EOS in TOUGHREACT. Initially without chemistry.

In the output file I see that salt precipitated and a k-red (permeability reduction factor), but in the SAVE file the porosity and permeability are not adapted accordingly and the flow and pressure conditions do not seem to be affected by the salt. How can I include this? Or can permeability reduction in TOUGHREACT only be accomplished in the chemical.inp?

And if I want to include chemistry, do I need to include the salt precipitation in the chemical part or can I still put it in the flow part?
