Framework for processed water injection

Hello everyone

This is a rather simple problem but I would like to ensure my thought process behind this problem make sense. 

I would like to inject processed water (with specific ion concentrations) into a calcitic aquifer. Here is what I have done so far:

1- I have a pretty good guess as to what the aquifer brine looks like as I have equilibrated it with minerals in Geochemist's Workbench (charge balanced)

2- I have a pretty good idea of what the processed water I am injecting into the aquifer looks like as well (charge balanced)

Here is what I do not know how to do; I have a 2D model that is infinite acting in the radial direction (right-most column cells have 1E50 volume). I would like to use the left boundary for the injection of processed water. In the reservoir, I added the aquifer brine water characteristics and equilibrated them with the minerals. The next step is when things did not work out.

Do I apply the processed water quality to the left-most cells (only) using solute and chemical input files and use GENER (with WATE) to inject the brine into the aquifer. I tried this method and it did not work. 

Any help is appreciated.
