Re: Can T2VOC simulate different grid increment ?
Hi Nor, Well, it's (almost) the correct format, but most likely not what you intended (I'm just guessing here). Please read the manual under MESHMAKER,…

Re: iTOUGH2-GSLIB grid definition and mapping
Hi Kue, As you know, the permeability field generated by GSLIB on a regular grid is on the file you specified in the GSLIB block. The one that is mapped onto the TOUGH2 grid can be found in several…

Re: Can T2VOC simulate different grid increment ?
Short answer: "yes, it can!". I cannot say more, as it is unclear what "does not run as usual" means. Make sure you design your irregular or unstructured grid appropriately.

Re: Using MINC to represent groundwater flow in fractured porous media
Neil, First, the MINC approach is more general, i.e., not limited to uniform fracture spacings (e.g., there is a proximity function for randomly spaced and randomly oriented fractures).…

Re: How to do inclined layer in block ROCK?
All geometry is done in blocks ELEME and CONNE (not ROCKS) - see related entries. In particular, variable BETAX indicates the cosine of the angle between a connection and gravity,…

Re: Steam injection about TMVOC
Yan Bo, Check the TMVOC manual to see which component #2 is; the issue is related to the mass balance equation of this component. The key is now to look at element 9853 and carefully examine what is…

Re: System of equations for EOS4
In TOUGH, vapor mass fraction is not defined as Mv/Ma, but as Mv/Mg=Mv/(Ma+Mv)=X^v_g, where Mk indicates mass of component k (not "mass fraction") in the gas phase. Therefore: X^v_g=(18.…
