TOUGH3-EOS7-diffusion

Hello,

I am trying to model a salt intrusion in a confined aquifer using TOUGH3 and EO7, following Henry's problem.

I am defining initial conditions (with multi 2 2 2 8: only water and brine) that allow simulating full saturation in water. When I add the diffusion parameters, I obtain the following error:

However, if I initiate the simulation using  multi 3 3 2 8, TOUGH3 does recognize the diffusion parameters I assigned.

Could you explain why it does not work when using multi 2 2 2 8?
