Infiltration into dry soil
Hello every one,
I am new to work with TOUGH3 software. I tried to simulate 1D infiltration into a 1m high column of sandy clay loam with an initial head pressure of -8 m. I used The EOS 9 (windows executable); however, there is a failure in the iteration. I attached the input and output files. I will be glad if anyone can take a look at the files.

Dear Masha,
When I look at your output file, I do not see any iteration failure. You asked the code to run 10 steps and it did. However, there appear to be problems in your input file. Note in the output file you get the message "WILL IGNORE INITIAL CONDITION AT UNKNOWN ELEMENT..." This means that the element names in the INCON file do not match the element names in the ELEME and CONNE blocks. And when I look at your ELEME block, I also see some element names appear more than once. This does not cause an error message to be printed, but I do not think the code will run correctly because the code will not know which of the duplicated elements correspond to a given connection.
