Re: Natural State geothermal model calibration using itough2
I stand corrected, 0.0 porosity values in the INCON block are ignored by TOUGH2/iTOUGH2.

It also seems that STEINAR has been used for editing at some point.

Are you using TOUGH2 or iTOUGH2? If you use iTOUGH2 you could try to set MOP(13)=1

Re: EOS1 with 2nd water. Some issues ...
I changed the initial value of COM2 in the INCON file to 1.0E-10 and it seems to run normally - some issue with solver instability I guess.

Re: iTough2 parallelization by PVM
I'm sure it works for inverse simulations, there is no mechanism for solver parallelization in the standard iTOUGH2. Also the documentions mentions the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm.…

Re: iTough2 parallelization by PVM
Hello Keshvad If you are using a single multi-core machine, you may want to look at the >>> PARALLEL: option rather than PVM - no need to install PVM. Cheers!

Have you tried the it2make script while in cygwin? That "should" work. If not, make sure to delete all .o and .mod files in your directory - there is some confusion between iTOUGH2 and TOUGH2 files.…

Doubt it will help but there is also an -mcmodel=large option. Can you post your T2 file?

Re: Error Codes?
Could be something as simple as this executable appears to be for EOS3 but your input files for EOS7. And this executable only allows for 99999 elements.

Re: Error Codes?
Can you provide the input/output file or more detailed print out from the error message. Most likely the message error depends on the compiler you have used.

Re: "EOS CANNOT FIND PARAMETERS AT ELEMENT" error message
I would recommend using gfortran (via MinGW or cygwin on Windows) rather than g95 since I think the g95 project is now semi-dormant. But you can try to add the -r8 option. http://www.g95.org/docs.…

What compiler do you use? Make sure to use the appropriate flags or options to generate a double precision executable.
